Our story

How we got here

Henni & Paddy together

Henni & Paddy together

Paddy met Henni at a CrossFit workout in a sunny Dublin park in 2020. Since then, they’ve swapped Dublin for London, settled into a flat in Kensington and got engaged in the Cotswolds on Midsummer’s Eve in 2025. They had their civil wedding in London with their families in August 2026. Now we’re looking forward to bringing everyone together for our wedding celebration in the Portuguese countryside in July 2027—for long summer evenings, good food and a great party. We can’t wait to celebrate with you.

We’ll kick off the weekend with poolside drinks and a relaxed dinner celebrating the flavours of Portugal. Settle in, catch up and meet the people you’ll be celebrating with.

Shuttles to Casa Grande will run from the two guest houses on the estate and our two partner hotels in the surrounding area. Pick-ups will be limited to these locations, with timings shared closer to the day.

Join us as we exchange vows overlooking the estate’s vineyards and the Serra da Arrábida mountains. Please be seated by 16:40.

Drinks and canapés in the French gardens, with time to catch up and enjoy the afternoon before dinner.

POOLSIDE CHIC

Think elegant summer dresses, elevated separates and relaxed tailoring in light, colourful fabrics. Sandals and loafers are perfect; jackets and ties are optional.

SATURDAY

GARDEN FORMAL

Women: Elegant midi or maxi dresses in vibrant colours or romantic prints. As we’ll be outdoors, we recommend flats, block heels or wedges. No white.

Men: Lightweight summer suits with a tie or bow tie, paired with loafers or dress shoes.

Stay & travel

Getting to us

Lisbon is easily accessible with flights from across Europe. Herdade do Perú is a 30–45 minute drive from the airport, depending on traffic.

Lisbon Airport

Please fly into Lisbon Airport — officially Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS), the city's main international airport. The venue and hotels are accessible with ubers and taxis. We'll be in touch later regarding transport.

Shuttle service

Shuttles will be arranged from the houses on the estate and our two partner hotels—Hotel Club d’Azeitão and Sesimbra Oceanfront Hotel—for Friday’s welcome dinner and Saturday’s wedding. Pick-ups will be limited to these locations, with timings shared closer to the weekend.

Driving

You're welcome to rent a car to get to your hotel or to Herdade do Peru, but we don't recommend driving to the wedding festivities, instead, please use the shuttles.

Hotel Club d'Azeitão

One of the hotels we're working with, a 10-minute drive from the estate. It sits in green grounds at the foot of the Serra da Arrábida, with a pool and a restaurant.

Sesimbra Oceanfront Hotel

Our other partner hotel, on the coast a 24-minute drive from the estate gate. It's a 5 star hotel right on the sand at Praia da Califórnia, with sea-view rooms, a pool and a spa — an easy place to stay before or after the wedding weekend.
